The project will be realised in an exclusive premium location in immediate proximity to one of Bavaria’s best-known lakes. The planned development is a modern design hotel with around 220 beds, specifically targeting a younger, lifestyle-oriented audience. Restaurants and bars as well as a high-quality wellness area will create a vibrant, urban-alpine holiday experience. The hotel is intended to be operated by a renowned international hotel operator.
STATUS
A term sheet for the acquisition of the property has already been signed. A new project company will be established for the project, which will acquire the plot. The final purchase agreement is expected to be concluded shortly, subject to the condition precedent of obtaining the building permit. The required zoning designation and development plan for the hotel project are already in place, and the building permit is expected shortly. Over the coming months, the project will be fully developed. A substantial portion of the total purchase price, amounting to EUR 2.5 million, will be settled under EPH Group AG’s “Land for Equity” programme through the transfer of shares as part of a non-cash capital increase, thereby significantly strengthening the equity base of EPH Group AG.
